Friday I was loured to a castle which stood with greatness and grandeur. Queen Victoria would be the famous resident in this marvelous estate. She was given a gift greater then any child, a giant doll house that depicted the lifestyle of the royals. complete with plumbing and electricity, marble tubs, original pieces of art (just miniature). As I was leaving the grounds I started to ponder my time here...and realized that there is less then 3 weeks left of my royal-chip-chip-cheerio trip to jolly ole England. What adventure could be around the corner? Hopefully something epic...

an exceptionally epic vision of a country
24.10.2011
I have now raised the standard of living in my own brain for places to visit now that I have been blessed with the opportunity to scatter my foot trails across France. This odyssey was luckily guided by two eloquent individuals whom reign from this divine country. The residence where I stayed was a lovely chateau in Mareil-le-Guyon, by day the journey lead us to Versailles then to Paris. My stomach was fruitfully filled with french cuisine, cheeses Ive never heard of met my pallet, breads and meats that were so fresh they nearly walked off my plate (and directly into my tummy of course). The Louvre was the pinnacle of my french tour, I danced in front of Venus de Milo, winked at the Mona Lisa, and marveled and wept at the feet of the Winged Victory of Samothrace. Visions of the Eiffel Tower and Castle of Versailles only seem to be fairy tales to me now.

my journey to Bath,Oxford,Stonehenge
16.10.2011
Somehow during this challenging academic week I hoarded some time to devout to travel. My trusty steed took me on a journey that has enriched my soul and replenished my hindered spirit in humanity. I played in the baths of Romans amongst great philosophers and politicians, all of whom I left my number to "call me!". I traipsed besides the scholars at the many collages of Oxford University, with whom I consumed copious amounts of french wine and laughed at their quips. Lastly I sacrificed a lamb on the tables of the old pagan ritual calendar site, known to many as stonehenge. How will I top this weekend? My odyssey to Paris begins on Wednesday October 19th...to be continued

The castle in Dover has represented the key to England from 1070 to 1942. I have had been fortunate to be able to roam around grounds that are older then my home country of the USA. Henry the second built this castle and has left the door open for me to rummage through his things. The secret war tunnels beneath the Castle proved to be quite an astonishing discovery. Ive decided upon my arrival back to the states, that my newly acquired royal status should be met by a Castle in Ann Arbor. Dear friends, please begin building, I am posting photos that you can use as your reference.

I'm a busy bee barraged with Break dancing professors
26.09.2011
Classes have begun and I await the arrival of my first class. Somehow I've walked to my first class (leadership and management) and found our professor ushering in intro to programing students. Utter confusion, I felt my self clammer like a cockroach fleeing from emerging florescence. My class supposedly begins at noon...I shall wait and build up the courage to possibly walk into the wrong class for round two.

I had a Glorious weekend discovering the amazing city of London. I think the united states should have closer connections with England because people here kind of have a complex that I have discovered, "do we want to be more like the states or not" all those who I have met thus far really love Americans which I was also perplexed by. I always imagined the states were hated and that I would'nt be able to disclose my United States Citizenship status, but I really havent had any problem. London is amazing, Ive met quite a guy who I think well represented England and london alike and for sure is quite the charmer.
P.S. I met the Queen, and now stand in the ranks of famous knights in history. no big deal or anything

starting the day with some action
15.09.2011
Television has been a fairy tale that we speak of with longing, and yet somehow our days seem to be filled with the day time drama and action that one would find channel surfing over waves of HD channels. Once on the broken brick path to seminars today our ears were suddenly flooded with a crash of excitement. Here cars seem to be an innuendo of what cars are in the states. These are bite sized machines driving along with giant double decker buses and garbage trucks, it was bound to happen...that is, a small bug like creature of a car sneaking to the corner to discover the force of a true smashing time. Today we also spend tromping over a wall that surrounds our town from enemies such as the Romans or Vikings, luckily Americans are greeted with an open arm policy.

registration face to face, nothing online here (that would be to efficient)

Ive officially landed on the moon, I brought my American flag and plunged it firmly into this British moon soil. Right away little green men with curly mustaches and beady eyes swarmed around me notifying me that today is the day I will have internet, hot water, bedding, and a lovely family of ants. Town today was filled with bustling people and ultra chic fashions. Lectures filled our ears about the amazing campus called Canterbury Christ Church University, and how three other universities share this small town of 47,000. The total student population reaches 44,000 at the end of the weekend. Our classes today were decided by a man with salt and pepper hair who seemed dapper and tasteful with his choice of dress and words. Here registration begins a week before classes, each of your classes only meet once a week, and Luckily I have been given a 4 day weekend. Here are the classes that I will get to delight my mind with: 1. Business Ethics 2. World Religions 3. British History 4. Modern Britain 5. Management & leadership
